Casa Raúl is located next to a church, in the small village of Lires. Lires belongs to the town of Cee, in the Region of Fisterra.
Lires is located in a valley where the rivers Lires and Castro run into the sea and form the natural border between the towns of Cee and Muxia.
This is where the smallest of all the Galician estuaries lies: the Estuary of Lires (Ría de Lires). It creates a space in which you can find the beaches of Lires and Nemiña as well as numerous and singular species of birds such as cormorants, herons or falcons.
If you are thinking about doing The Way of Saint James (El Camino de Santiago) you should take the opportunity of doing the epilogue or continuation of the Way till you reach Fisterra and Muxia. In order to do so, enjoy and relax in Casa Raúl, crossing point before reaching the end of the Way.
